Zillow: It one of the biggest apps in terms of user base, and flares well for a good and neat property search. It has a good database, fine filters, and good support. It helps the user find both buys and rentals and has numerous features like Zenestimate, agent finder and so on. Although the user interface is not at par as some other apps like MagicBricks, it does work fine.
Realtor: It has one of the fastest refreshing rates. A special feature wherein it refreshes its 90% of listings in 15 minutes or so. It is quick and the UI is good enough, but all that can sometimes cripple resources. Support is good, and the app flares well, but it doesn’t quite match up with the number of listings. Although to app’s credit, it does pretty well for most of the real estate searches.
Trulia: It is great, however, it lags when it comes to a number of listings, and especially finds it difficult to deal with dead listings (whereby the properties are sold or leased) that are a serious constraint, but in every other yardstick, the app performs and performs pretty well. Moreover, there are more options focused on the agents. Which limits the penetration of this app among users.
Century 21: One of the newest entrants, the app is good for finding properties nearby, however it does lag many other subtleties that a good property app must have. The app does crash sometimes, and have very unpleasant icons, that gives a bad impression of the overall design. However, that said, it is still fine, or at least is one of the five that you can use in order to find properties.
MagicBricks: This app has steadily picked up for two chief reasons: User Interface and the operation mantra, the app outsmarts every other app in finding properties out of its limited database which is now experiencing a viral growth due to its popularity amongst users. The hard work that the developers have put in to make listings accurate and to the point is quite palpable, and the support system too looks world class. That makes it one of the finest property apps around. Simple properties buy and sell, the app has it all. And it is easy to work with.
Almost all the apps we found does not spam or have ads, and that’s nice because that keeps you focused on the task that you want. Besides the property apps have far more features than any other medium that you use. All packed in one portal. These apps make a phone no less powerful than a computer
